Definition of Terms

To distinguish our cleaning methods and styles, we use certain terms. Below is our definition to help you understand and select the right service or add-on for your home cleaning.

Wiping

A pass-over to remove loose debris, dust, and/or light blemishes. 

Washing

A heavier cleaning than wiping to remove soils and more problematic blemishes. Tasks with this definition require more time than those classified as "wiping" and will add to the cost. The removal of all stains is not guaranteed.

Green Seal-Compliant Cleaning

Home Again Cleaning proudly offers environmentally responsible cleaning options tailored to the needs of our commercial clients. We work with businesses that follow Green Seal® standards and can adjust our cleaning products and protocols to align with these requirements.

If your facility requires the use of Green Seal-certified products or adherence to specific sustainability standards, we’re happy to accommodate. These requests must be discussed in advance to ensure proper planning and product sourcing.

 

Please note that while eco-friendly products support healthier environments, they may require more effort to achieve the same results as conventional cleaners. Service quality and expectations will be reviewed as part of the customized plan.

    We will discuss the type of service you are interested in and get you booked immediately. 

  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, PayPal, checks, and QuickBooks payments.

  • Yes, there is a $50.00 deposit.

    Deposits are non-refundable. 

  • If a rescheduling happens WITHIN 48hrs of the original booking, there is no rescheduling fee. The original deposit will apply.

    If a rescheduling happens AFTER 48hrs of the original booking, there IS a rescheduling fee. The original deposit will not apply.

  • Yes! We customize a contract depending on your selected services and preferred frequency.

    Depending on the services, there are some discounts offered.

  • If requested, we will do our best to send the same people, but this is not a guarantee.

  • No, but we will need a form of entry.

    We also ask for any alarms to be turned off before our arrival or access to turn them off when we arrive for cleaning.

  • We love pets, but for their safety and ours, we ask that they be put in a safe place during our services.

    If you have a concern regarding cleaning chemicals and your pets, please see our Eco-Friendly Products section above.

  • Your safety means a lot to us. If you are more comfortable with us using your cleaning supplies, we can, but please let us know ahead of time.

  • Yes, there are services we do not offer. These are:

    • Carpet cleaning/stain removal beyond vacuuming

    • Unclogging drains and pipes

    • Window washing*

    • Porch and patio cleaning

    • Small appliance repair or cleaning

    • Fire and water damage restoration

    • Wood scratch or damage repair

    • Garbage can sanitization

    • Descaling of faucets

    • Cleaning vent covers

    • Defrosting and cleaning freezers

    • Dishwasher cleaning

    • Dish, pot, and pan washing

    • Shower curtain cleaning

    • Aerator cleaning

    • Degreasing stovetop hood

    • Picking up clutter

    • Tile grout

  • We offer window cleaning. This is a cleaning with only a window cleaner. We do not provide window washing where we would use soap or another product on the window. We DO NOT remove any screen attached to the window when doing this cleaning. If you want us to clean the window behind any screen you have, please remove it beforehand. Otherwise, we will not clean that area of the window.
